About IIM Indore

 

With the objectives of imparting high quality management education and training, the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India established Indian Institute of Management Indore as Institution of Excellence. These Institutions are recognized as premier management institutions, comparable to the best in the world for teaching, research, and interaction with industries.

Established in 1996, Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has been a leader in the field of management education, interfacing with the industry, government and PSUs. It is promoted and nurtured by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and is an institute of national importance under the Indian Institutes of Management Act 2017.

 

Admission Process

 

The students undergo a rigorous selection process:

  • An application form aimed at understanding the students’ proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities is filled up by the aspirant.
  • An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.
  • Shortlisted candidates appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). The interview panel comprises well–qualified professors from IIM Indore and other prestigious institutions. The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.

About IPMAT

 

IIM Indore administers the IPMAT aptitude exam for entry to its five-year IPM programme (Integrated Programme in Management). IIM Indore offers a dual degree programme (Bachelors + Masters) for students who have completed their 12th standard. It is a programme which allows entry to an IIM just after 12th standard. For securing admission in IPM, aspirants have to clear IPMAT and the shortlisted candidates then go through the Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI) round.

In addition to IIM Indore, Nirma University also accepts IPMAT scores for admission to its BBA-MBA integrated programme. IIM Rohtak has also introduced its Integrated Programme in Management and has a separate IPMAT for its admissions.

 

IPMAT 2021: Eligibility Criteria

 

IPMAT eligibility 2021 is a set of requirements that students must meet in order to be admitted to IIM Indore's five-year Integrated Programme in Management. The below are the IPMAT 2021 eligibility requirements:

  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of General and NC-OBC category.
  • The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2019, 2020 or in 2021.
  • Candidates who will be appearing for the Class 12 examination or are waiting for the results can also apply for the exam.
  • The candidate should be of maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2021 in case of General and NC-OBC category.
  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) category.
  • The candidate should not exceed 22 years of age as on July 31, 2021 in case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) category.

  1. Each question carries 4 marks.
  2. Except for Quantitative Ability (SA) section, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  3. There is no negative marking for not attempting a question.
