Christ University has become the primary choice of applicants seeking admissions after finishing 12th Board exams. As a result, the competitiveness for admission to the Bangalore-based university has increased. The CUET Aptitude Test is the most critical aspect of the admissions process. To get a seat in any UG level course offered by the university, one must first pass the CUET test.

CUET is a 2-hour test comprising of 120 questions which are multiple-choice based. Each question has 4 options and the only one option amongst 4 is correct. The CUET exam is divided into 6 sections, namely Fundamental accounting, English, Mathematics, Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation and General Knowledge.

The marking scheme of CUET is –

  • For each correct answer, you will be awarded 1 mark.
  • For each incorrect answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.

Verbal Ability - Strong and weak arguments, statements and assumptions, statements and conclusions, statements and inferences, reading comprehension, para jumbles, logical sequence of words, analogies, syllogism, odd one out, English grammar, vocabulary, logical deduction, course of action, causes and effects, fill in the blanks, similar sounding words, and incorrect sentences.


English - Reading Comprehension, Spellings, Idioms, Phrases, Jumbled words/sentences, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms, Vocabulary, Syntax, Grammar, Proverbs, Legal terms, One-word substitution, and Incorrect sentences.


Mathematics - Percentage, Profit and Loss, Number System, Average, Algebra, AP and GP, Statistics, Permutation and Combination, and Probability.


Reasoning - Series, Directions, Blood Relations, Critical Reasoning, Analogy, and Syllogism.


Data Analysis & Interpretation - Pie charts, Tables, Bar graphs, Line charts, Radar graphs, and Mixed graphs.


General Knowledge - International events, Awards and honours, Major developments in the areas of sports, geopolitics and important environmental agreements, Eminent personalities, UN Bodies, and Current Affairs.
