About Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the first University established in 1998 by Govt. of the NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999. The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of the UGC Act.

 

It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with a focus on professional education, for example, engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”

What is IPU CET?

 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University administers the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is abbreviated as IPU CET. Candidates seeking admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be admitted either through a National Level Test or through the University's Common Entrance Tests (CET).

 

After passing the IPU CET exam, candidates will enroll in GGSIPU-affiliated colleges. The entry into BBA and BJMC courses is made through the IPU CET exam.

Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET BBA and BJMC

 

Academic Qualification

 

  • The candidate should have completed their Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board.
  • The minimum marks to be secured by a student is 50% in total aggregate.

 

Age Bar

 

The candidate's age should not be more than 21 years as of August 1, 2021.

 

Nationality

 

The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Those who are in the category of International candidates (NRI), will have to submit relevant documents related to their nationality.
