University of Delhi or Delhi University is India's largest institution of higher learning and among the largest in the world. It has 77 affiliated colleges and 5 other institutes with an enrolment of over 132,000 regular students and 261,000 non-formal students.
Most colleges select students to various courses on the basis of the percentage in qualifying exam. There are few courses for which an entrance exam is conducted and the score of entrance is also considered along with the percentage in qualifying exam. One such exam is DU JAT.
Delhi University Joint Admission Test is conducted every year in the month of June/July*. Various colleges affiliated to DU offer curses in B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) BBA(FIA) programmes on the basis of DU JAT scores.

Eligibility criteria for DU JAT 2020 was as follows
Every candidate, in order to apply must qualify/clear the board examinations, conducted by a recognised board. The Senior Secondary School Examination must be of CBSE or any other examination which is considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.
Candidates who have appeared in the senior secondary examinations and are awaiting their results are eligible to apply as well.
Candidates relating to the General Category should have an aggregate of minimum 60 per cent in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi.
As per the DU JAT 2020 eligibility criteria, the minimum percentage requirement for the reserved category, (namely SC, ST, CW, and PwD category) candidates was 55 per cent.
The minimum percentage requirement for the OBC (non-creamy) candidates was 54 per cent in each of Selection Procedure of DU JAT 2020 the four papers considered for computing the aggregate. The OBC candidates were given a relaxation of 10 per cent in the minimum eligibility marks for getting admissions and for the DU JAT 2020 test and relaxation of 10 per cent of the minimum eligibility marks predefined for General/UR Category candidates.

Exam was of 2 hours duration. Four marks were awarded for every correct answer. One mark was deducted for every wrong answer.
